VoIP Technology Expansion Offers Customers No-Cost International Calling

SPRING HILL, FL - April 07, 2005 -- SkyNET TeleSystems, a leading pioneer in common-use, VoIP voice and data provisioning, today announced a major expansion of its standard calling territories, translating into a major cost saving for its customers, using its VoIP voice technology to make long distance calls. SkyNET credits its advancement of its Voice over Internet Protocol, or VoIP, for this expansion of its most basic calling territories. SkyNET customers utilize this revolutionary VoIP technology without the need for the hi-speed, Internet connection required by other VoIP providers. SkyNET's service can be used from any phone, whether a landline or a cell phone.

"With this breakthrough, our customers can now call five continents for the same money they paid to call only within the U.S., just months ago. Imagine calling London, England for the same price you pay to call Chicago; San Juan, Puerto Rico for the same price as calling Los Angeles; Hong Kong for the same price as calling your State capitol. SkyNET has truly become the next generational long distance provider", comments Diane Hitchens, SkyNET's CEO. "We have severely altered the way people will use their telephones. And that's just the beginning. We will continue breaking down the borders for our customers as we expand our technology to allow more and more off-shore calling as part of our basic monthly calling plans."

Up until now, SkyNET offered five calling options for monthly subscribers, plans ranging from $19.99 to $69.99 with rates from 5.5˘ per minute to 4.3˘, but good only for calls terminating in the continental U.S. Now, with the introduction of the SkyNET Unlimited Access, 1˘ and SkyNET Global Plans, earlier subscribers of their former $39.99 through $69.99 plans can now opt for a plan that is tailored toward their individual needs. Here's how it works. Let's say you are a current subscriber of the SkyNET $19.99 plan that offered 360 minutes of domestic U.S. calling time at 5.5˘ per minute, but you have family in another state and you want to talk more. With a change in the amount you pay of $4.00 more, you can now call your family and talk as much as you want on the Unlimited Access Plan.

Another option for those not using the phone as much, SkyNET has a 1˘ per-minute plan. For $4.99 per month, all calls within the same "local" calling area offered callers of their Unlimited Plan, all calls are billed at a penny a minute, plus 19˘ to connect. A "Pay-As-You-Go" plan.
