PHONE SERVICE PROVIDER LAUNCHES
NEW SERVICE, MARKETING PROGRAM

Thursday, April 16, 2003, 8 a.m. EST

SPRING HILL, FLORIDA - Local, long distance phone call processor, SKYNET TELESYSTEMS LLC, today, launched its direct sales marketing program allowing independent contractors exclusive sales rights to the SkyNET line of telecommunication products and services. "It's been a long time coming, but we're thrilled", says Diane Hitchens, SkyNET's CEO.

After a long development period, SkyNET, a Spring Hill based provider of Voice Over Internet Protocol, or VoIP, phone calling, is introducing a new brand offering local, domestic long distance, and international voice and data transmissions utilizing the newest technological advances in telecommunication through its unique direct sales model. "Until recently, only the computer savvy were experimenting with free calls made over the Internet, usually calling from their computer to a friend's phone. It was a novelty", Hitchens says. "But when it came time to make a real call, the old standby telephone was the old reliable. But with today's advances in data packet transmission, that old reliable has become yesterday's news."

SkyNET's better mouse trap, according to Hitchens, is a long distance call, fax, or data connection sent from phone to phone, transported over the Internet. She distinguishes her company's process of making a call from the traditional AT&T-type call by describing the process. "Until recently, making a call was very similar to connecting two cans with a string if you were using AT&T or MCI; your voice traveled over a copper wire, and it was not cheap. But times have changed. Now your voice can be broken down into Xs & Os, computer data, and transported from place to place over a highway of data packets, just like E-mail over the Internet, and about as economical. SkyNET has harnessed this technology and applied it to the phone call. Now anyone can talk, send faxes or data using SkyNET's VoIP technology and not even know that they are doing it. All they know is that they are saving money on their long distance calls."

Hitchens says that by launching its new SkyNET brand exclusively through its unique direct sales channel is another marketing innovation. "What better way for a communication company to get its message out except from direct face-to-face contact? By empowering an independent sales force with our power message, it is good for them when they share in the gross sale revenues, it's good for SkyNET when we can get our message out effectively for a fixed cost per sale, and it's good for the public when they want to save money on their calls."

SkyNET plans to expand its line of VoIP products and services in additional offerings later this year.
